With Ilse Rohrer we have two female skippers at the Cannonball.
Lukas Rupsch was Co-Skipper of the winning team at the first RPC in 2008.

There are 2 Bavaria 47c yachts available due to cancellation of teams.

News from Adriatic Challenge: all our boats will have mobile internet on board (Huawei modem incl. WLAN for up to 5 computers). Also 12V-220V AC adapters will be available on all yachts.

Trainingswoche vor dem Cannonball möglich!
Dank der langjährigen guten Partnerschaft zu Adriatic Challenge und Pitter-Yachting können für die Woche vor dem Cannonball die Schiffe zu einem äußerst günstigen Preis für Trainings gechartert werden.
So beträgt der Aufpreis für eine zusätzliche Woche für die Bav42match EUR 1.860,- und die Bav47c EUR 1.610,-

Unser Tipp: RPC-Skipper deren Crew nicht vollzählig in der Woche vor dem Cannonball Zeit haben, könnten einzelne Segler anderer Teams zum Training mitnehmen um die Kosten zu senken. Sie profitieren so vom Know How anderer Teams und haben dazu den Vorteil eines perfekt vorbereiteten Schiffes für die Regatta.

The date for exceptional race Round Palagruža Cannonball 2012 is finally set – 07-13.04.2012.
Participants can book B42M or B47C through Yacht Charter Pitter. A waiting list for B42M class is already set but there are enough free boats in B47C class.

Today at 2 p.m. the award ceremony will take place at the Marina restaurant in Biograd. There’s only one yacht left to cross the finishing line now: The “Daiquiri” (42) with the ASS Segeln-Mercure team of skipper Horst Bernhardt is still on its way towards Biograd. Will they make it before the time limit of the regatta ends at noon..?

The RPC 2011 trophies (designed by Stuntstorch, sponsored by PANTAENIUS):

Most of the crews have arrived in Biograd now. Still there are ten boats out on the sea, but the party in the marina here already started. Please find the latest pics of the finish and the party in our image gallery!

The match for the second and third place has been decided: The “Solent” (64) with its Team Ascherl-Regatta Bodensee of Robert Schönbeck was the second Bavaria 42 yacht to cross the finishing line in Biograd, about half a minute later it was followed by the Yachtcharter Pitter Crew with Skipper Klaus Pitter on their “Cape Cod” (51).

Only few minutes later there two more crews reached Biograd: The SÄGEWERK-Team of Peter Stefaner on the “New York” (60) and on the fifth place Ronnie Zeiller’s Alles Yacht-Crew on their “San Diego” (63).

The fans in the harbour of Biograd congratulate all the RPC 2011 teams – it was definitely a hot match on the last meters of the regatta! To all the boats still out there on the sea: We wish you a great race, and come back safely!
